📞 Who should I contact for questions or concerns?

🚌 What’s the pickup protocol for my child’s school?

Please inform your child’s school that Wilde Lake Karate is responsible for daily pickup and ensure we are added to your emergency contact list. Please let schools know of the days your child is attending.

🚫 How do I report my child’s absence? Very Important 

Please notify us before 12:00 PM on the same day if your child does not require pickup.

📅 What happens during the first week?

  • Students are introduced to our routine, meet instructors, and receive uniforms.

  • Group assignments (A, B, C) will be based on age and experience within the first two days.

    • Safe & Structured: Clear rules and guidance

    • Fun & Active: Lots of games

    • Social & Engaging: Strong peer interactions

🎯 What activities are included in the daily schedule?

  • Morning Classes: Martial arts -Fitness- Games 

  • After-school classes: Martial arts- gymnastics- fitness-games
    Note: Schedules may adjust due to weather, daylight changes, or other factors.

🚗 What are the pick-up times?

Since our program is under 2 hours, we kindly ask that you plan to pick up your child between 5:45–6:00 p.m. This ensures they are able to complete all of their scheduled classes and group activities as assigned.

🥋 Is a uniform required?

Yes. Martial arts uniforms are required Monday through Thursday.

  • Students will change into their uniforms daily (Monday–Thursday) during the program.

  • At the end of Classes, students will not change back into regular clothes.

  • Parents must ensure that the uniform is placed back into the child’s backpack so it is ready for the next day.

Students must wear uniforms to fully participate in scheduled activities.

🍎 Do you provide snacks?

We don’t provide snack -no food or snack sharing between students, staff are not allowed to give snacks or food to children, students may bring their own snacks and meals from home, no eating or drinking is permitted on the buses, food may only be eaten during designated snack times under staff supervision, students must wash or sanitize their hands before and after eating, all food waste and containers must be disposed of properly to keep the facility clean, parents should notify staff of any allergies or dietary needs, and students are expected to treat snack times responsibly and respectfully.

🧥 Where is the lost and found?

It’s located in the front lobby area. Please check it regularly.

📵 What is your electronic device policy?

  • No electronic games/devices (iPads, iPods, etc.)

  • Phones must remain in backpacks.

  • All communication must go through the staff.
    📌 Wilde Lake Karate is not responsible for lost or damaged devices.

💼 What is your cancellation policy?

  • 3-month minimum commitment

  • After that, month-to-month with 30 days’ written notice by email.

🦠 What are your health precautions for COVID-19, flu, or colds?

  • Masking is optional for healthy students.

  • Handwashing is required upon arrival.

  • If a child is sick, they must remain at home until fully recovered.

  • If a student begins to cough or shows any symptoms of a cold, flu, or illness while in our care, we will provide them with a mask until a parent arrives for pick-up.

  • In cases of allergies or other non-contagious conditions, students are also required to wear a mask until symptoms improve.
