Daily Requirements & Program Overview

We are excited to welcome your child to a summer full of learning, growth, and adventure!
Please carefully review the following details to ensure your child has a safe, successful, and enjoyable camp experience.


πŸŽ’ Daily Requirements

1. Camp T-Shirt (Mandatory)

  • All students must wear the Wilde Lake Karate Camp T-shirt every day.

  • Camp T-shirts are provided on the first day.

  • Students without a T-shirt may be excused from participating in outdoor or group activities for safety and identification reasons.

  • Additional T-shirts are available for purchase at $15.00 each β€” we recommend purchasing more than one since shirts must be worn daily.

2. Closed-Toe Shoes

  • Proper athletic shoes are required daily.

  • For ages 5–8, shoes without laces (Velcro) are recommended to encourage independence and prevent delays.

3. Comfortable Bottoms

  • Students should wear sports-appropriate shorts or gym pants.

  • Skirts are not permitted due to physical activities.

  • Students should be prepared for both indoor and outdoor play.

4. Labeled Water Bottle

  • Please send a reusable water bottle labeled with your child’s name.

  • Hydration is essential, especially during outdoor activities.

5. Swimming Gear

  • Bring swimsuit, towel, and spray-on sunscreen every Monday.

  • Pack swim gear in a separate bag labeled with your child’s name.

6. Face Masks (Optional)

  • Masks are optional based on personal preference.

  • We encourage respect for each family’s choice.

7. Lunch and Snacks

  • Campers must bring their own lunch and snacks daily.

  • Refrigerators and microwaves are available for use.

  • Lunch Money Option: Parents may send lunch money (handed directly to staff at drop-off).
    Staff maintains a log and supervises all lunch purchases.

  • Students are grouped each Monday by age, skill, and activity needs.

  • Morning Groups: Group 1, Group 2, Group 3

  • Afternoon Groups: Group A, Group B

  • Groups stay together throughout the day to promote friendship, teamwork, and consistency.

  • Taekwondo and Karate classes

Swimming is offered four times per week, organized by age groups:

  • Group B (Older Students): Monday & Wednesday

  • Group A (Younger Students): Tuesday & Thursday

Water Safety Program:

  • Focus on supervised swimming and safety skills.

  • Students wear color-coded wristbands based on swim ability for safety and supervision.

  • Field trips take place every Friday.

  • Destinations may include amusement parks, skating rinks, nature parks, and museums.

  • Details and reminders are provided via the weekly camp newsletter.

  • Trips are weather-dependent and may be replaced with special in-house events if needed.

Camp weeks may be changed one time only, as a one-time courtesy, on or before May 1, 2026.

  • Weeks cannot be removed or canceled once selected.

  • This allows flexibility for families adjusting vacation plans.

  • After May 1, 2026, no changes will be accepted.

  • Cancellations on or before April 30, 2026 may qualify for credit or refund (minus registration, trip, and t-shirt fees).

  • After May 1, 2026, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Registration, field trip, and t-shirt fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.
