Taekwondo Classes
Master Kevan Agahi, Director of Wilde Lake Karate in Columbia, Olympic Medallist,
6th degree black belt, and Martial Arts Hall of Fame Instructor of the Year 2002
nominee (with 16 years teaching experience) will continue to offer a wonderful
Martial Arts Program in Columbia.

The Martial Arts Program offers a full body workout through a mix of 
Taekwondo, Hapkido, Ju jitsu, Kendpo, gymnastics, calisthenics and stretching. 


In addition to a thorough Martial Arts curriculum, program instruction promotes
character-building traits like courtesy, integrity, respect, self-control, 
self-discipline and perseverance.

Shotokan Karate-Do Karate Class 

The classes will be led by Dimitar Genchev 3rd Dan (3rd degree black belt) in Shotokan Karate-Do and 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo.

Education and Experience: Master’s in Training for High Sport Performance and Master’s in Business Administration, Bachelor’s in Physical Education and Shotokan Karate-Do. AAAI personal training and nutrition certified. CPR/First Aid certified. Physical Education Teacher, Multiple national and international champion (kata and kumite).  

                                Shotokan Karate-Do Karate Class Overview

The purpose of the Shotokan Karate -Do classes is to develop well educated individuals that are able to demonstrate variety of motor skills and motor patterns; applies knowledge of concepts, principles, strategies, and tactics related to Karate-Do movements and performance;  demonstrates the knowledge and skills to achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of physical activity and fitness; exhibits responsible personal and social behavior that respects self and others; and recognizes the value of physical activity for health, enjoyment, challenge, self-expression and/or social interaction (National Physical Education Standards). 

 

Tuition is payable monthly, there will be no Contract or Long Term Membership
